Gloria Estefan
Gloria María Milagrosa Estefan is a Cuban-American singer and songwriter who, fronting Miami Sound Machine, fused Cuban rhythm with American pop and disco into some of the 1980s' biggest crossover hits. Her 1985 breakout "Conga" was the first song to simultaneously top Billboard's pop, R&B, Latin and dance charts, opening a commercial lane for Latin artists in English-language pop that reshaped the decades that followed.
