Todd Edwards
Todd Edwards is an American garage house producer, DJ, and singer nicknamed 'Todd the God,' celebrated for a sample-collage technique that chops soul and gospel vocal snippets into rapid, stuttering micro-phrases and reassembles them into new, rhythmic melodies. His mid-1990s productions, including 'Saved My Life,' were foundational to the emerging UK garage sound and later shaped French house and, by his own account, a generation of British bass-music producers.
