Sindo Garay
Sindo Garay was one of the last great figures of Cuba's original trova tradition, a self-taught guitarist and composer whose romantic, guitar-and-voice songs — written across a life that stretched from the 1890s into the 1960s — became foundational texts for every generation of Cuban singer-songwriters that followed, including the Nueva Trova movement decades after his prime.
