Radhikaprasad Goswami
Sources on sarodist-composer Timir Baran's early training name Radhikaprasad Goswami as a Calcutta sarod teacher who gave the young Baran his first grounding on the instrument in the 1910s–20s, before Baran moved on to become Allauddin Khan's first formal disciple. Almost nothing else about this teacher is documented in accessible sources, and he should not be confused with the more thoroughly documented Bishnupur-gharana vocalist of a similar name, Radhika Prasad Goswamy (1852–1925), whose own biography does not mention Baran.
