Paul Anka
Paul Anka became one of the first teen idols of the rock and roll era, writing and singing his own hit "Diana" at sixteen in 1957 before building a decades-long career as a songwriter (including the English lyrics for "My Way") and Vegas-style crooner. His clean-cut, orchestrated brand of romantic pop set a commercial template that countless Latin American teen-pop singers of the following decade openly modeled themselves on.
