Los Cadetes de Linares
Homero Guerrero formed Los Cadetes de Linares in Linares, Nuevo León, in 1960, adding accordionist Adán Moreno the following year and building a norteño repertoire of corridos about ordinary people's crimes, friendships, and tragedies. The group toured Mexico and the Mexican-American Southwest for two decades until Guerrero's death in a 1982 car accident.
