Le Sserafim
Le Sserafim is a five-member South Korean girl group launched in 2022 by Source Music under the HYBE umbrella, debuting with the EP 'Fearless.' Anchored by a concept of unshakable self-confidence — the name is an anagram of 'I'm Fearless' — the group pairs razor-precise choreography with genre-restless pop that folds in house, drum and bass, and hip-hop. They became one of the defining fourth-generation K-pop girl groups and, as a HYBE act, a direct stylistic sibling to the label's global project KATSEYE.
As labelmates under HYBE, Le Sserafim came up inside the same idol-development system BTS defined, inheriting its emphasis on high-concept eras, rap-and-sung vocal trades, and globally minded, hip-hop-informed pop.
listen forPlay BTS's 'ON' and then Le Sserafim's 'Unforgiven' — both drive a fierce, marching, brass-and-drum production under alternating sung and rapped sections built for a stadium.
Le Sserafim's swaggering, genre-mashing approach follows the template BIGBANG set for K-pop — big, brash hybrids of hip-hop, EDM, and pop delivered with attitude.
listen forSet BIGBANG's 'Fantastic Baby' against Le Sserafim's 'Fearless' — both strut on a bass-heavy, chant-ready beat that prizes swagger and hook over restraint.
Le Sserafim extends a girl-group lineage that runs back to first-generation K-pop acts like S.E.S., who established the polished harmony-and-choreography model that K-pop girl groups still build on.
listen forCompare S.E.S.'s 'Dreams Come True' with Le Sserafim's 'Perfect Night' — both ride a bright, buoyant pop hook carried by clean group harmonies over a dance-pop pulse.
