Haider Khan

Haider Khan (1857–1927) is remembered by his gharana's own historiography as the first and, likely, the foremost disciple of Inayat Hussain Khan, founder of the Rampur-Sahaswan gharana. He passed the tradition to his son, Fida Hussain Khan, and, through him, to his grandson, Nisar Hussain Khan; no recordings of his own performances are known to survive.
