Guy

Guy was a New York R&B trio led by producer Teddy Riley that fused synthesized funk, hip-hop drum programming, and doo-wop vocal-group harmony into what became known as new jack swing. Their self-titled 1988 debut set the template that a generation of late-1980s and 1990s R&B acts would build on.
